Find out what ID is needed
Answer a few quick questions. We’ll tell you who normally needs an ID check before an address can go live.
Why we ask for ID
Before an address goes live, we need to know who is using it and who owns or helps run the business. UK law requires this. It stops people misusing our address.
How the process works
- Sign up and pay
- Tell us about your situation
- Complete your secure ID check
- Receive confirmation that your address is active
Please wait for our “address is active” email before you use the address.
How your ID check works
Most checks are done online with photo ID and a quick selfie. Sometimes we also ask for proof of where you live.
How your information is handled
We only collect what we need for your ID check and our legal duties. We keep your information safe. Only allowed staff and approved providers can access it when needed.
